In March of this year, Taiyo Oil made donations using the Regional Revitalization Support Tax System (corporate version of hometown tax scheme) to municipalities closely associated with our business activities. The purpose of these donations is to support initiatives addressing local issues in each region.
We are pleased to announce that the donation presentation ceremonies for Sanyo-Onoda City and Ube City, where our Yamaguchi Operations are located, were held as follows.
Representing our company, Senior Vice President Mikio Murakami and Yamaguchi Operations General Manager Hidekazu Kitamura attended the ceremonies and handed over the donation list to the respective mayors. In return, both mayors presented letters of appreciation to us.
The donations will be utilized in Sanyo-Onoda City for initiatives aimed at enhancing regional disaster preparedness and in Ube City for city development projects based on the SDGs.
Taiyo Oil is committed to continuing our support for projects that contribute to the revitalization of local communities.
