Taiyo Oil Receives Letter of Appreciation from Ehime Prefecture

2024.07.03

Taiyo Oil made a donation in March of this year to Ehime Prefecture in support of the prefecture’s population decline countermeasures through the use of the Regional Revitalization Support Tax System (corporate version of hometown tax scheme), and we have recently received a letter of appreciation from the prefecture for this donation.

The letter of appreciation presentation ceremony was held at the Prefectural Government Office, where President & CEO Takahiro Yamamoto, Representative Member of the Board and Senior Vice President Takakazu Matsuura, and Senior Vice President and Shikoku Operations General Manager Junichi Ishikawa, attended and received the letter of appreciation from Governor Tokihiro Nakamura.

President Yamamoto expressed his hope that this donation would contribute to the local community. In response, Governor Nakamura stated that population decline countermeasures are a top priority issue, and that the prefecture would put forth utmost efforts to achieve results.

Taiyo Oil is committed to continuing our support for projects that contribute to the revitalization of local communities.
