2024.07.31

We are pleased to announce that Taiyo Oil has received a letter of appreciation from Yamaguchi Prefecture for the donation made in March of this year using the Regional Revitalization Support Tax System (corporate version of hometown tax scheme).

The letter of appreciation presentation ceremony was held at the Prefectural Government Office, where Representative Member of the Board and Senior Vice President Takakazu Matsuura and Yamaguchi Operations General Manager Hidekazu Kitamura attended. The donation will be utilized by the prefecture for its initiatives for promoting next-generation industrial innovation and encouraging young people to stay in the prefecture. Senior Vice President Takashi Matsuura expressed his hope that the donation would contribute to industrial promotion within the prefecture, noting that the company’s Yamaguchi Operations are also engaged in developing new projects. Governor Muraoka conveyed his appreciation, stating that creating next-generation industries is an important goal, and that the prefecture aims to connect it with encouraging young people to remain in the prefecture.

Taiyo Oil is committed to continuing our support for projects that contribute to the revitalization of local communities.
