Notice of Organization and Personnel Changes

This is to announce the following organization changes and assignments of executive officers, decided upon at the Board of Directors meeting on February 3, 2020. 

Organization Changes (effective from April 1, 2020)

Aims

    • To establish an interdepartmental PDCA to oversee both Shikoku and Yamaguchi Operations in the view of the situation concerning technical training
  • To ensure stability of buyers and build a supply system in conjunction with the westward shift in consideration of changes in the logistics environment

Changes

    • The Technical Education Planning Department will be newly established (in Shikoku Operations).
    • The Marketing & Sales Planning Department’s Logistics Strategy Group and the Supply & Demand Coordination Department’s Lorry Operation Center will be transferred to the Logistics Management Department, which will be newly established at the Head Office (in Shikoku Operations).
    • The Wholesale Marketing Department will be renamed the Oil Sales Department.
    • The SOLATO Service Station Promotion Department will be integrated into the Marketing & Sales Planning Department.
    • The SOLATO Service Station Promotion Department’s Sales Promotion Group will be integrated as the Sales Promotion & Service Station Development Group in the same department and transferred to the Marketing & Sales Planning Department, and the SOLATO Retail Support Group will be transferred to the Oil Sales Department.
    • The Human Resources Development Department’s Education & Training Group will be integrated into the Human Resources Development Group in the same department.
    • The Risk Management Group in the Environment & Safety Department at the Head Office will be integrated into the Environment & Safety Group in the same department.
    • Group 2 of the Petrochemical Department will be integrated into Group 1 of the same department.
  • Where there is one group in one department, the group name will be abolished (Human Resources Department, Human Resources Development Department, Environment & Safety Department at the Head Office, Petrochemical Department, International Trading & Shipping Department, and Supply & Demand Coordination Department).
