Notice of Organization and Personnel Changes

This is to announce the following organization changes and assignments of executive officers, decided upon at the Board of Directors meeting on January 14 and February 3, 2025.

Organization Changes (effective from April 1, 2025)

Background and purpose of changes

  1. Further strengthening of competitiveness and improvement of governance through the optimization and streamlining of operations at Shikoku Operations

  2. Improvement of operational efficiency and effective utilization of human resources at the Matsuyama Office

  3. Integrated and efficient management and promotion of new businesses

Details of the changes

1. Reorganization of Shikoku Operations

  ・Establishment of the “General Affairs Department”

   ・The General Affairs Group, Procurement Group, and Tax & Dues Operation Group are henceforth part of
      the General Affairs Department.

  ・Integration of Refining Department 1 and Refining Department 2 into the “Refining Department”

   ・The Refining Group 1, Refining Group 2, Refining Group 3, and Refining Group 4 are
      henceforth part of the Refining Department.

  ・Integration of Oil Transfer Department 1 and Oil Transfer Department 2 into the “Oil Transfer
    Department”

  ・Integration of the Plant Engineering Department and the Maintenance & Engineering Department into
    the “Plant Engineering Department”

   ・The Electrical Group, Instrumentation Group, Machinery Group and Equipment, Mechanical
      Engineering & Inspection Group are henceforth part of the Plant Engineering Department.

  ・The Technology Group, Production Control Group, Laboratory & Research Group, and Digital Strategy
    Group are henceforth part of the Production & Technology Department.

2. Reorganization of the Matsuyama Office

  ・Integration of the General Affairs Group of the General Affairs Department Matsuyama and the CSR Group
    into the “General Affairs Department Matsuyama”

3. Renaming of the Head Office organization

  ・Renaming of the Business Innovation Department to the “New Business Planning & Development
    Department”

   ・As part of the reassignment of responsibilities, the Carbon Neutrality Promotion Group and the New
     Business Planning & Development Group in Yamaguchi Operations (located in the Yamaguchi
     Operations), both under the Corporate Planning Department, will be transferred to the New Business
     Planning & Development Department.
